The Cavalier Diner is conveniently located on Emmet Street in the heart of Charlottesville. We are at 1403 North Emmet Street at the 250 Bypass.

If there is a "heart of Charlottesville" it has to be this intersection of the two main travel routes through the city … Emmet Street (Route 29) and the Route 250 bypass. This major crossing of traffic is just 1.2 miles from the grounds of the University of Virginia, 2 miles from the downtown mall and just 5 miles from Hollymead and Forrest Lake.

It's easy to get to by car and you'll find plenty of parking. If you don't see a parking spot in front, check around back, we keep a lot of our parking spaces back there!

One of the great things about this "heart of Charlottesville" location is that it makes it easy to meet people. Everyone in the area knows where Emmet Street and the 250 Bypass cross. So, call some friends to meet you here and come on down!
